Bar Food Served at the Inn

Some travel miles for a huge bowl of steaming mussels, (available in season) hand picked from beds nearby or for a very special plate of fish and chips with its crisp ale beer batter – two of the most popular dishes from our extensive bar menu.

Some prefer to select from the day’s specials board, based on what’s been caught, shot, picked or dug locally each day.

The Bar is recognised for selling quality real ales such as Woodfords Wherry, Adnams, Green King Abbot and IPA.

We also  have a guest pump which changes regularly, providing local suppliers with a chance to impress.

Food is served from 12 - 2.30 pm and 6 pm - 9.30 pm

We serve cream teas and light snacks, which include soups and sandwiches, between 3pm and 5.30pm.

Limited table reservations can be taken for Lunchtimes 12 - 12.30 pm and evenings 6 - 7 pm. Tables not reserved available on a first come first served basis.

Sunday Lunches available each Sunday 12 - 2.30 pm with tables also available in The Restaurant.
